Come join us and help build and grow a world class site Position Summary This position manages the activities of systems test strategies and quality assurance functions for F5 platform products. We are seeking passionate, quality-minded individuals with can do attitudes who can manage a team that helps drive the feature set and quality of Leading Edge Network Platforms. Key responsibilities are to develop and manage people, provide technical leadership, lead project planning, facilitate communication, and offer vision for product quality and test processes. Coordinates project timelines with Project and Development Managers, determines and obtains resources, assigns work, monitors progress and results, and provides technical leadership. This Manager is a champion for product quality within the department and is accountable for an assessment of product readiness and commitments on product delivery schedules. This is a first-level management position. Primary Responsibilities Implement and support all department methods, techniques, tools, utilities and evaluation criteria for testing while offering feedback for improvements to efficiency. Analyzes, writes and creates templates for complex test processes and procedures. Maintains test documentation and test results, and analyzes results to ensure existing functionality, while recommending corrective action. Works with internal and cross-functional teams to implement and improve test strategies as required. Works with Project/Program Management on project scope and estimation. Works with remote development and test teams. Provides technical input into project scope and estimating activities. Assists and validates customer scenarios as required. Creates and conducts presentations internally. Employee management including, but not limited to, sourcing, interviewing and hiring candidates for open positions, onboarding, establishing goals, assigning or delegating work, providing on-the-job training, giving guidance to staff, conducting performance evaluations, approving paid time-off (PTO), developing performance improvement plans, and taking disciplinary action. Responsible for upholding F5s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies. Performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Extensive experience in quality systems, data networking and automation engineering methodologies Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams Workload balancing, with a focus on cross-functional resourcing Knowledge of Jira, Microsoft Project, Visio, and other project and workflow tools Knowledge of OSI Layer-1 to 7 including LAN switches, routers, general TCP/IP and associated protocols preferred. Boeing Test and Evaluation team is currently looking for Lead Test Systems Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru, KA . Test & Evaluation engineers at Boeing make sure that products at the worlds largest aerospace company continue to meet the highest standards. From quality and reliability to safety and performance, their expertise is vital to the concept, design and certifications of a wide variety of commercial and military systems. This role is responsible for the development, upgrade and enhancements of integration test systems that support electronic system verification testing, software verification testing, and Line Replacement Unit (LRU) acceptance testing. Will work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software and test engineers to develop test system requirements, hardware and software architectures, test specifications and procedures, and test station validation procedures. Troubleshoot problems reported for during testing by conducting in-depth analysis of the problem, identify root cause of any system anomalies/discrepancies in hardware and/or software and/or test bench and provide solutions/ recommendations. Position Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for aircraft components. Engage with Test Program Managers at the time of writing the Test requirements to define the Test strategies and test architecture framework. Have a good understanding of complex test system architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for avionics systems testing. Demonstrate expert domain knowledge in any of the avionics systems namely, Flight management System, high-integrity Radio and Communication, SATCOM, Flight Control systems, or other high critically airplane systems. Perform systematic and comprehensive safety assessments on the test system architecture, integrated design, Hardware/software, support equipment, and installation of the subsystems, and experiments to ensure that relevant safety requirements are met. Leads the SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR Responsible for meeting the Test metrics and Test coverage. Identifying critical system functionalities and designing test cases to cover untested areas of the code. Identifying test prioritization to optimize test coverage. Perform risk analysis and identify potential areas of failure in the system. Take steps to align the test scenarios as per risk analysis. Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment. Work collaboratively with very strong teaming skills. Must be willing to work flexible hours (early or late as needed) to interface with Boeing personnel around the world. Experience: 16+ yrs in purely technical leadership (no managerial experience to be considered), in QE & large part of that must be in automation Strong domain - SNVC skills. Automation experience must cover - framework design/development, creating test strategies and handling frequent changes in test requirement Excellent QE aptitude and experience in providing technical leadership to medium to large teams.
