Job Description

Role Overview: As a hands-on, process-driven QA Manager at Leena.ai, your primary responsibility will be to address critical product stability challenges and establish the QA function from scratch. You will play a pivotal role in transforming chaos into quality and embedding a "quality-first" mindset in a fast-growing B2B SaaS company. Your contribution will be crucial in defining, implementing, and owning the processes that ensure the reliability of our platform, reduce production defects, and exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Build the Foundation: - Define, implement, and own the company's end-to-end QA strategy by establishing robust processes, standards, and metrics to enhance product quality significantly. - Lead & Mentor: - Lead, mentor, and upskill the team of Quality Engineers, providing hands-on technical guidance and training to foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. - Drive Testing Excellence: - Actively lead the design and execution of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test suites, ensuring thorough coverage for API testing, UI/UX testing, regression, load, and stress testing. - Champion a Quality Culture: - Advocate for quality across the software development lifecycle, partnering closely with Product, Development, and Support teams to embed quality checks at every stage for faster, more reliable releases. - Manage & Report on Quality: - Establish and manage a rigorous defect-tracing process and bug lifecycle, tracking and reporting on key quality metrics to provide stakeholders clear visibility into progress, bottlenecks, and successes. - Optimize & Innovate: - Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing processes, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance team productivity, staying current with new tools and innovations to maintain best-in-class quality practices. Qualifications Required: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. - 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 2+ years in a lead or management role. - Proven, hands-on experience in building and scaling QA processes and teams, preferably in a fast-paced B2B SaaS or startup environment. - Demonstrated expertise in establishing QA methodologies from the ground up, creating test strategies, plans, and implementing robust defect management lifecycles. - Strong experience with both manual and automated testing for web applications. - Deep familiarity with modern testing tools and frameworks such as Jira, Selenium, TestNG, Postman, JMeter. - Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for upskilling teams and the ability to drive cultural change effectively. - Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence effectively.,
