Roles and Responsibilities

• Create

  designs, concepts, and sample layouts

  based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
• Determine

  size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy

  , and select style and size of type.
• Confer with clients to

• Develop

  graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Internet websites

• Review

  final layouts and suggest improvements

• Study illustrations and photographs to

• Research new software or design concepts.
• Produce

  still and animated graphics

  for on-air and taped portions of television news broadcasts, using electronic video equipment.
• Photograph layouts, using camera, to make layout prints for supervisors or clients.
• Develop negatives and prints to produce layout photographs, using negative and print developing equipment and tools.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic design / Communications / Marketing

  or Degree from a renowned School of Art.

Experience and Skills Required

• Minimum

  5+ years of relevant experience

  .
• Experience in

  graphic design, art directing, advertising or marketing

  is preferred.

• Proficiency in industry standard design and web publishing programs

  ; expertise in Adobe Creative Suite is an added advantage.

• Visualizing skills

  is a must.

• Project management abilities

  are also required.
