Sr. Graphic Designer

As a Graphic Designer at [Book Publishing House], you will be an integral part of our Creative Services team, contributing to the visual identity of our publications. Your creativity and design expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall aesthetics of our books, covers, and promotional materials. This position requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in design software, and a passion for bringing stories to life through visual elements.

Key Responsibilities:

Book Cover Design:Conceptualize and create visually appealing and marketable book covers that align with the essence of the content.
Collaborate with authors, editors, and marketing teams to understand the target audience and design requirements.

Layout and Typesetting:Design and layout book interiors, ensuring readability, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Collaborate with editorial and production teams to integrate text and visual elements seamlessly.

Promotional Materials:Create eye-catching promotional materials, including banners, posters, and digital assets, to support book launches and marketing campaigns.
Work closely with the marketing team to align designs with promotional strategies.

Illustration and Artwork:Develop original illustrations and artwork for book covers and interior pages.
Source and adapt existing visuals to complement the narrative and theme of each publication.

Brand Consistency:Ensure consistency in design elements across all publications to maintain the visual identity of [Book Publishing House].
Contribute to the development and adherence to brand guidelines.

Collaboration:Collaborate with authors, editors, and other team members to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback.
Work closely with the production team to ensure the smooth transition from design to print or digital formats.

Stay Updated on Design Trends:Keep abreast of design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
Implement innovative design concepts to enhance the overall visual appeal of our publications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in the book publishing industry.
• Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, with a focus on book covers and layouts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

• Noida - 201301, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
