Sr. Executive/JM/AM- Internal Audit

• M/Com or Semi qualified ( CA Inter or CWA Inter ) or MBA Finance

Role & responsibilities

• Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
• To complete the Operation/Process Audits of Somany ceramics plants and JV plants.
•  PV of the Somany warehouses and the JV warehouses.
• Complete all the internal audit scope as per the annual Audit plan.
• Obtain, analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audits results and document process.
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
• Document the process and audit findings report.
• Conduct follow-up audits.
• Co-ordinate with external internal auditors.
• Perform Follow-up audits and prepare action taken report.
• Understanding of Manufacturing sector working.
• Knowledge of auditing techniques and methodologies
• Sound knowledge of MS Office and SAP.

Preferred candidate profile

The Candidate is required to objectively add value and improve operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of IA Standards, accounting procedures and sound judgement.

The candidate should be at comfort, in working at manufacturing environment and must demonstrate at work, a strong challenger mind-set with proven abilities to work with Cross-functional teams and influence critical stakeholders on key pillars of the Internal Audit strategy.

• Proven working experience as Internal Auditor.
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports.
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations applicable in India
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Sound independent judgement.
