Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee and manage the housekeeping operations within our real estate properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in all residential and common areas, contributing to an exceptional living experience for our tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervision and Leadership:

    • Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
    • Provide clear direction and expectations to housekeeping staff to ensure consistent service quality.
  2. Quality Assurance:

    • Develop and implement housekeeping standards and procedures to maintain a clean and organized environment.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies promptly.
  3. Inventory Management:

    • Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
    • Collaborate with vendors to source quality cleaning supplies within budget constraints.
  4. Budget Oversight:

    • Assist in the development of the housekeeping budget and manage expenses to meet financial objectives.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
  5. Communication:

    • Communicate effectively with property management and other relevant stakeholders to address housekeeping-related issues and concerns.
    • Maintain open lines of communication with tenants to address specific cleaning requests or concerns.
  6. Training and Development:

    • Provide ongoing training to housekeeping staff on best practices, safety protocols, and customer service.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the housekeeping team.
  7. Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
  8. Guest Services:

    • Coordinate housekeeping services for special events or guest accommodations.
    • Handle guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfaction.
  9. Recordkeeping:

    • Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inspections, and inventory levels.
    • Generate regular reports on housekeeping performance and present findings to management.
