Sr Executive / Executive - Instrumentation

Role & responsibilities

Core knowledge of control system associated with reactor and tank farm management system.

Configuration and fault diagnosis of PLC, SCADA, Profibus Communication, Analyzer and Control Loops.

Maintenance of instrument like a Pressure transmitter, Level transmitter, Temperature transmitter, Gas detector, Flame detector, Smoke detector, On-Off Valve, Control Valve, RTD, Loadcell and Weighing scale

Calibration knowledge for RTD, Weighing scale, Loadcell and Weighbridge.

Troubleshoot instrument faults and breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Design, Installation and Commissioning of Control loop as per site requirements.

Knowledge of project activities from initial stage to commissioning stage for instrument activities (Site Execution, PLC Programming and Control Philosophy).

To maintain the documentation like a logbook, breakdown report, material consumption report etc.

Knowledge of Failure analysis of all Instruments.

Prepare and maintain the spare and consumable list.

Perform the PM activities according to the plan uploaded in SAP.

Knowledge of SAP for PM, and MM Modules.

Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Collaborate with cross functional team during plant shutdowns and start-ups.

Support production teams in resolving instrument issues affecting operations.

Stay updated with new technologies and maintenance best practices.

Knowledge of kaizen for improvement equipment efficiency in plant.

Knowledge of environment, safety and occupational health hazards related to plants operations.

Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and proficient in analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of various software such as Simatic manager and other siemens software as well.

Strong knowledge of HMI siemens and TIA portal software for logic developments.

Strong knowledge of various VFDs such as Siemens, Schnieder Electric and its Programming with PLC.

Sound knowledge of various sensors such as pressure switch, level sensors, pressure Sensors and Transmitters.

Basic understanding in Drawing reading of various panels of electrical and plc. P&ID

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Tech Instrumentation with minimum 6 year of experience OR
• Diploma - Instrumentation with minimum 8 year of experience
