Job Description

Job Location: Chembur, Mumbai.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to manage and oversee various financial and banking operations, including import/export transactions, bank reconciliations, corporate accounting entries in Odoo, and handling personal accounts of company directors. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of LC (Letter of Credit) documentation, foreign remittance, and banking procedures, and should be comfortable coordinating with banks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:Banking & Documentation:

  • Upload Bank Guarantees (BG) and Letter of Credit (LC) documents on net banking portals.
  • Possess sound knowledge of LC documentation and related processes.
  • Handle foreign remittance queries and transactions, especially related to import/export.
  • Visit and coordinate with banks as required to submit or collect documents including BG, LC, etc.
  • Independently prepare and process RTGS, Demand Drafts, and Cheques.

Corporate & Online Payments:

  • Ensure all payments and receipts of Cash Credit (CC) accounts are accurately recorded.
  • Perform bank reconciliations for all bank accounts on a regular basis.
  • Map and manage online payments through bank portals.
  • Pass all corporate-related entries in Odoo accounting software.

Import/Export Accounting:

  • Maintain accurate records and follow compliance related to import and export documentation and transactions.
  • Track and reconcile payments related to international trade operations.

Personal Accounting:

  • Maintain and manage personal accounts of Directors and Chairman with confidentiality and accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of LC and BG documentation.
  • Experience in handling foreign remittances and international trade-related banking.
  • Proficient in bank reconciliations and online banking platforms.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
  • Good command over MS Excel and financial reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience in handling directors' personal accounts will be an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel locally for bank coordination as required.
