About this opportunity:

We are thrilled to offer the position of Sr. Engineering Manager at Ericsson. This role is essential to maintaining our competitive edge as it relates to technology management, fostering an innovative culture, and ensuring the right balance of quality, time, scope, and cost for our products. A Product Development Leader at Ericsson takes on a variety of leadership tasks within product development, teaching, coaching, challenging, and aiding in individual, team, and organizational development. We value an environment that embodies lean and agile methodologies, promoting continuous learning and innovation.

Experience Required:

10+ years of software development experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record in delivering enterprise-grade networking products from concept to customer deployment.

Deep knowledge of networking platform development and large-scale software systems.

Hands-on experience in embedded software and firmware development across multiple networking technologies (Cellular, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Serial, Bluetooth, etc.).

What you will do:

Lead and grow a diverse, high-performing software engineering team in Bangalore.

Foster a culture of planning, execution, and collaboration within the team.

Drive innovation in both product capabilities and development processes.

Collaborate closely with product management, program management, hardware engineering, and customer support.

Manage partner relationships for co-development efforts (JDM/ODM).

Ensure delivery of high-volume, high-quality embedded software for enterprise-grade networking.

Contribute to Ericsson s mission of delivering world-class enterprise and carrier-grade wireless communication solutions.
