Sr. Embedded Firmware Engineer

As an ideal candidate for the position, you should possess the following technical skills: - Strong understanding of the Android platform and AOSP development, including familiarity with Android Architecture and System Services. - Experience with low-level system programming and Android platform concepts like HAL Development, System Services, Android Boot, Fast Boot, etc. - Proficiency in Android OS modifications, HAL interface definition language (C++ and Java), and working experience with Android Automotive OS or Infotainment. - Knowledge of SELinux Policies, Android, JNI, and Android application development for efficient troubleshooting and issue resolution. - Ability to design and develop Linux device drivers, implement drivers for interfaces like I2C, SPI, Display, camera, etc. - Hands-on experience in low-level driver software development for the Linux operating system, boot loaders, and UBoot for Linux. - Strong grasp of Operating systems concepts such as scheduling, memory management, and device driver development in Linux/RTOS. - Expertise in device driver frameworks, Linux kernel APIs, and C/C++ programming with Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming skills. - Collaboration with Architecture, Hardware Design, and cross-functional teams for effective project execution. - Previous experience in low-level debugging utilizing JTAG debugger, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc. Moreover, non-technical skills that are essential for this role include: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges effectively. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and concise interaction within the team. - Self-managed and adaptable mindset to learn and grow professionally. - Eagerness to embrace new challenges and responsibilities in the work environment.
