Role Overview: As a senior leader in the engineering department, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction to multiple engineering teams, ensuring alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives. You will oversee a portfolio of multiple products, managing the architecture, delivery, and performance while balancing priorities, resources, and timelines. Your role will involve defining and evolving best practices, processes, and quality standards to enhance velocity, maintainability, and overall performance. Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to drive timely and high-quality product delivery, champion modern development practices, and cultivate a culture of innovation within the organization. Building and nurturing high-performing teams and executing long-term technology strategies will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Provide strategic leadership across multiple engineering teams to align technology initiatives with business goals - Oversee the architecture, delivery, and performance of multiple products, balancing priorities, resources, and timelines - Define and evolve best practices, processes, and quality standards to enhance velocity, maintainability, and performance - Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, Support, and Implementation teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery - Champion modern development practices, tools, and technologies to drive innovation and keep teams ahead of the curve - Build and scale globally distributed, high-performing teams by hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers and engineering leaders - Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term technology strategy and execution plans - Identify and lead initiatives to improve engineering productivity and drive organizational transformation Qualifications Required: - Proven leadership experience at the Senior Engineering (Technical) Manager level, managing global engineering teams and driving performance across multiple product lines - Hands-on background in software development with a deep understanding of modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures - Demonstrated success in scaling teams, improving engineering operations, and delivering complex software products - Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams - Data-driven decision-making approach with a focus on operational excellence - Prior international exposure, including experience working across global markets such as Sri Lanka, the United States, and Australia - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Additional Company Details: (Omitted as no additional details were provided in the job description),
