Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sr. Design Manager, located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Sr. Design Manager will be responsible for leading the design and development of paddy parboiling, steaming, and drying plants. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing design projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing project timelines. The Sr. Design Manager will also be responsible for mentoring junior designers and ensuring the continuous improvement of design processes.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in mechanical design and engineering principles
• Experience with CAD software and other design tools
• Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Leadership and team management abilities
• Knowledge of industry standards and compliance regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant experience in the manufacturing or engineering sector is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
