INDUSS has commissioned over 3,500 projects across India and internationally in countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Iran. Annually, more than 20 million tons of paddy are processed using INDUSS plants. The company offers semi-automatic and fully automatic parboiling with cookers to ensure uniform color, minimal brokens, and no smell. Additionally, INDUSS provides innovative solutions like the Husk Fired Furnace and the WATER RECYCLE SYSTEM for efficient and sustainable processing. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sr. Design Manager, located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Sr. Design Manager will be responsible for leading the design and development of paddy parboiling, steaming, and drying plants. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing design projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing project timelines. The Sr. Design Manager will also be responsible for mentoring junior designers and ensuring the continuous improvement of design processes. Qualifications Strong proficiency in mechanical design and engineering principles Experience with CAD software and other design tools Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Leadership and team management abilities Knowledge of industry standards and compliance regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Relevant experience in the manufacturing or engineering sector is a plus Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
