Sr Design Engineer

You should have a BE/B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in designing liquid and pharmaceutical packaging machinery, with a strong understanding of industry-specific requirements. Your responsibilities will include working closely with production and service teams to design packaging lines for pharmaceutical products such as ampoules, vials, eye-ear drops, and pre-fill syringes. You will also work on non-pharma complete packaging lines and liquid packaging machines like rinsing, washing, filling, capping, labeling, shrinking, cartoning, tube filling, etc. Additionally, you will be required to design HVAC systems along with utilities for various applications such as pharmaceutical project coordination, HVAC system design, and documentation. Proficiency in designing 2D & 3D models & components using various software is a must. You should have a good understanding of packaging equipment for the pharmaceutical industry and be skilled in designing piping and ducting layouts. Your role will involve mechanical design of packaging equipment, piping and ducting design, preparation of HVAC and FDA layouts, and drafting on AutoCAD. You will be expected to optimize existing designs to customer specifications. Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other relevant design tools is required. Having in-depth knowledge of pharma industry regulations and standards (e.g., CGMP, FDA, ISO) related to machinery design is essential. Excellent communication skills are necessary, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have an innovation-driven mindset with a track record of integrating new technologies into machine design. Strong organizational skills are also important to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.,
