About the Role:

Senior Creative Producer- Social Video


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize & Produce:

    Develop original video concepts and scripts tailored for Pinkvilla’s digital platforms, ensuring alignment with brand tone, audience interests, and platform-specific formats.


  • End-to-End Production:

    Oversee all aspects of video creation — from ideation, research, scripting, and storyboarding to on-ground production and post-production.


  • Cross-Team Collaboration:

    Work closely with editorial, creative, and social media teams to plan and execute a content calendar aligned with current trends and platform insights.


  • Post-Production Supervision:

    Partner with video editors to guide the editing process, ensuring strong storytelling, quality output, and brand consistency.


  • Platform Optimization:

    Monitor performance analytics across platforms; use insights to refine content strategy, enhance engagement, and optimize titles, thumbnails, captions, and tags for maximum reach.


  • Trendspotting & Innovation:

    Stay updated on evolving digital trends, emerging content formats, and platform updates; proactively introduce new ideas to keep Pinkvilla’s content fresh and relevant.


  • Team Leadership:

    Lead, mentor, and manage a team of creative producers, editors, and interns to ensure smooth execution, timely delivery, and consistent creative output.


  • Promotional Planning:

    Collaborate with social media and marketing teams to design platform-specific promotional and distribution strategies for every video.


  • Audience Understanding:

    Conduct audience and competitor analysis to gauge viewer behavior and identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Film, or a related field.


  • Minimum

    6 years of experience

    in digital content production, preferably for entertainment or lifestyle platforms.


  • Strong scripting, storytelling, and production skills tailored for short-form and long-form digital content.


  • Proven experience in leading and managing creative teams, overseeing multiple projects, and ensuring high production standards.


  • Deep understanding of social media ecosystems — YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook — including algorithms, analytics, and audience engagement practices.


  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and closely work with production teams end-to-end.


  • Excellent creative judgment with an eye for detail, pacing, and visual quality.


  • Strong communication and organizational skills.


  • Passion for entertainment, pop culture, and digital media trends.
