Job Description

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Receive the list of requirements (LOR) for suppliers RFQ, conduct internal meetings for clear understanding & create RFQ, Involve the users in timely review / meeting with suppliers.

Supplier identification / Quote receipt / Supplier registration completion / Negotiation / Cost comparison / PO & contract release.
Adherence to the procurement process in line with global / local SOP.
Feedback to users on the procurement process status in different stages of RFQ / Supplier discussions / PO release / Payment etc.
Scrap disposal management - Identify sources / prepare long term contracts / periodic reviews / disposal process / adhere to compliance & statutory requirements.
MIS reporting on Indirect purchases for reviews
Conduct weekly meetings with users on follow up status.
Supplier initial assessment for procurement
Launch supplier performance rating.
Cost reduction - 10% YOY on indirect spending by alternate sourcing / negotiation.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate with 10 Year of relevant experience in Indirect purchases, with respect to plant covering all functions including CAPEX purchases.

Knowledge in vendor base (Local & Overseas) for multiple commodities & spend criteria.
Cost comparison / negotiation skills
Good communication skills.
Experience in green field projects setup / Bidding process / Tendering process is preferred.
