Closely work with P& C Manager to ensure functioning of operations & project execution in line with QCD objectives.
Preparation & launch of RFQ, following up with suppliers for quotations.
Preparing commercial evaluation sheet, e-bidding, commercial negotiation.
Ensure QCD target achievements
Preparing Approval Notes & releasing Purchase Order/ Work Order to the suppliers/contractors.
Regular follow up with all suppliers on pending orders for the adherence of delivery schedule.
Ensure timely availability of the material for continuation of regular operations & timely completion of Capex /Projects. .
Follow the procedure for " Vendor selection " for inclusion of any new supplier or new material from Existing supplier
Maintain all purchase related records, supplier database, documents & fulfil audit compliance.
Periodical assessment of supplier performance, quality ,cost, delivery & services.
Co-ordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
Finalisation of Annual Rate Contracts for regular consumables & services.
Conduct Industry research to identify potential suppliers & develop vendor database.
Effective teamwork with internal customers & stake holders in problem solving and conflict management.
MIS Reporting

Preferred candidate profile

Engineer Graduate-Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical (aligned to category of buying)
Procurement experience in an Oil & Gas or Manufacturing Industry (+3 years).
Expertise in managing SAP systems, digital processes, MS Office.
Significant experience within Procurement and Supply Management; with a proven track record of delivering results within a global Procurement organization.
