Sr Business Analyst

The ideal candidate for this role should have over 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. You will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders from various departments to understand objectives and translate them into detailed functional and non-functional requirements. It will be your duty to assess the performance of project teams to ensure timely achievement of targets and deadlines. In this position, you will need to create and maintain clear and concise documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, use cases, user stories, mind maps, process flows, and data maps. You will provide project analysis to senior management by producing required documentation like business requirements, future state proposals, UAT plan, use cases, and scope matrix. Acting as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business goals will be part of your responsibilities. You will also drive and facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather and validate business needs. Maintaining logs for meeting minutes, schedules, project summaries, and updates will be essential. Regular meetings with the project team to review project deliverables and ensure deadlines are met are also required. Defining KPIs and success metrics to measure project effectiveness and ROI is another vital aspect of this role. Moreover, supporting QA and UAT efforts by reviewing test plans, test cases, and validating outcomes, as well as assisting in prioritization and backlog grooming alongside product managers and delivery leads will be part of your daily tasks. Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform recommendations and business strategy will also be expected from you. Identifying innovative ways to understand customer needs and increase customer satisfaction is crucial. The successful candidate should have proven experience in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, and be proficient in tools such as JIRA, Basecamp, Confluence, MS Visio, Figma, MindMeister, or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, experience in creating and delivering presentations to executive stakeholders, domain experience in the software development industry, proficiency in MS Office, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, good communication skills, and leadership skills are also required.
