Sr. Associate Non Litigation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate to join our Non-Litigation practice. The role involves providing strategic legal advice, drafting and negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations across diverse sectors. The ideal candidate should have excellent legal acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to manage client relationships independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise domestic and international clients on corporate structuring, joint ventures, acquisitions, real estate transactions, and regulatory frameworks.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including shareholder agreements, SPAs, lease deeds, service contracts, and more.
• Lead legal due diligence exercises for investment and acquisition transactions.
• Provide legal opinions and advisory memos on regulatory compliance, FDI norms, company law, and sector-specific laws (e.g., real estate, infrastructure, energy, or fintech).
• Liaise with government and regulatory authorities for approvals, filings, and licenses.
• Mentor junior associates and assist in knowledge development within the team.
• Manage client expectations and independently handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines.

Key Requirements:

• LL.B. or equivalent from a reputed law school.
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, focusing on Non-Litigation practice.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience with regulatory filings, compliance, and legal due diligence.
• Ability to handle multiple clients and matters independently.
• Commercial awareness and business-oriented legal thinking.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹750,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year

• Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
