SQL Architect

Experience:

Location:

Skills

SQL Development (10+ Years)
Query Languages: T-SQL, PL/SQL, SQL/PSM
Performance Tools: Query analyzers, profiling tools
Data Modeling: ER diagrams, normalization techniques
Security: Database encryption, access controls
ETL Tools: SSIS, Informatica, Talend

Monitoring: Database health, performance metrics

Role & Responsibilities:

Lead architectural design decisions for enterprise database systems
Establish and enforce database standards and best practices
Optimize database performance and implement monitoring solutions
Design data models for complex business requirements
Develop database security and compliance frameworks
Create disaster recovery and high availability solutions
Mentor technical teams on database architecture principles
Evaluate and implement new database technologies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
10+ years of experience with enterprise database systems with at least 3-4 years in architectural role
Expert-level knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Proven experience with database performance tuning
Strong understanding of data security principles
Track record of successful large-scale database projects
