Job Purpose

Manages all tech sourcing for the Bank. Develops policies and Procedure for Compliance and Transparency in tech sourcing. Trains and supervises staff, develops relationships with suppliers, and negotiates commercials with Suppliers.

Role & responsibilities

1) Procurement Activities for IT Sourcing & Procurement

• Ensure rates are finalized as per Sourcing policy for IT Sourcing & Procurement activities raised by Project Managers of IT Tech & Digital vertical
• Evaluate requests received from various Project Managers PMs.
• Share RFP/RA templates to various PMs, wherein complete project requirements are received from PMs whether OEM specific or non-OEM specific (i.e., requirements where competitive bidding is possible).
• Consolidate the requirement and prepare RFP template to perform RFP event with identified suppliers.
• Review online RFP and Auction template to be shared across to Sourcing ARIBA team for IT tech and digital vertical
• Consult & take concurrence from PMs & IT team on the technical specifications, SLA's, SOWs etc. captured and to be published as part of RFP/RA documents.
• Perform market survey and gather information of partners who can supply and provide similar services, to avoid single or few suppliers dependency.
• Request for justification from PMs on the shortlisted service providers for the respective project, if required.
• Check internal database for historical requirements.
• Try to create a benchmark while gathering market information.
• Identify if any service is OEM or single/few suppliers specific, to proceed further accordingly as per set process

2) Market Survey / Industry Practice

3) RFP / RA Online Process and Offline process

• Share across duly filled RFP template to ARIBA team where-ever online bidding process needs to be adhered.
• Co-ordination with Sourcing team, in scheduling the RFP & Auction events, in consultation with suppliers.
• Extend support in getting vendor availability for RFP/RA events to Sourcing team, resolving vendor queries, incorporating inputs from business into RFP/RA in terms of SLAs, SOWs and other related applicable T&C's.
• Consolidating the RFP & Auction report shared by Sourcing team and publish them to respective PMs to initiate supplier on-boarding process.
• For Offline requirement, compile the requirement from PMs and float the same to requirement specific identified suppliers.
• Perform negotiations calls/discussion with suppliers where offline requirement are floated.
• Complete sourcing and procurement life cycle process needs to be followed for IT projects managed.

4) Vendor Resources Management

• Complete sourcing and procurement life cycle process needs to be followed for Vendor resources.
• Ensure all supplier relationship managers have completed the due diligence as per the framework and appropriate approvals obtained. Provide necessary assistance to Project Managers to onboard Suppliers.
• Vendor resources reconciliation and presentation of data to management.

5) Quality and process

Review and update Policy Process as per compliance guidance and improvement opportunities
