7 - 14 Years 1 Opening Kochi Role description We are seeking a skilled Java Consultant with strong expertise in application architecture, deployment, and cloud migration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both on-premises and cloud environments (Azure and AWS), with a solid understanding of infrastructure, application frameworks, and migration strategies. The role also involves client interaction, technical leadership, and working with modern development and cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities: Understand and analyze the different components of an application architecture. Set up and deploy applications on-premises as well as in cloud environments (Azure Or AWS). Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience with Azure or AWS IaaS and PaaS services Create comprehensive architecture diagrams to visualize applications and infrastructure. Utilize discovery tools such as PowerShell, Azure Migrate, CloudockIt, or similar for application and infrastructure discovery. Plan and execute application migration strategies, including the creation of migration playbooks. Lead client calls, conduct technical interviews, and gather requirements. Collaborate with teams using Azure DevOps, including the creation and management of user stories. Leverage existing knowledge of customer processes, infrastructure, and application environments to provide tailored solutions. Required Skills & Experience: Programming Languages & Frameworks: Proficient in Java and frameworks like Spring Boot. Experience with Java hosting stacks such as Tomcat. Containers & Orchestration: Working experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, pods, nodes, and registries. Networking: Understanding of network infrastructure and devices, including Virtual Networks (Vnets), firewalls, Network Security Groups (NSGs), routes, and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).
