Job Description

Prepare, review, and generate accurate customer invoices in line with contractual terms, pricing agreements, tax regulations, and internal billing policies, ensuring timely issuance and minimal discrepancies.
Validate billing data by coordinating with sales, operations, and finance teams, reconciling service delivery records, timesheets, usage reports, and rate cards before final invoicing.
Manage end-to-end billing cycles, including recurring, milestone-based, and ad-hoc invoices, while monitoring billing schedules to ensure compliance with agreed timelines.
Handle billing queries, disputes, and adjustments by conducting root-cause analysis, issuing credit/debit notes where applicable, and maintaining clear documentation for audit purposes.
Maintain accurate billing records in ERP or accounting systems, ensuring proper classification of revenue, taxes, discounts, and adjustments in accordance with accounting standards.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities by providing billing reports, revenue summaries, and reconciliation statements to finance and management teams.
Ensure adherence to statutory requirements related to GST/VAT, withholding taxes, and invoicing compliance, keeping track of regulatory updates affecting billing processes.
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance billing accuracy, turnaround time, and automation, while supporting system enhancements and internal audits.
