Special Education Specialist

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility to work from home on certain days. As a Special Education Specialist, you will work closely with children who have diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), applying specialized teaching techniques, and collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support the educational progress of each child. Additionally, you will monitor and assess student development and provide guidance to ensure that every child achieves their potential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues
• Experience with Education-focused strategies for working with children with special needs
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of students
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus
• Prior experience in working with children with disabilities or developmental challenges is highly desirable
