Special Education Specialist

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Special Education Specialist based in Jaipur, with the flexibility to work from home as needed. The role involves working closely with children to provide tailored educational and behavioral support. Daily tasks include implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), applying teaching techniques aligned with special education needs, and utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practices to address behavioral challenges. This role also requires collaborating with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure the overall developmental goals of the children are met.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Special Education methodologies and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and educational teams
• Background in Education with specific experience or training in working with children requiring special education
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for supporting the developmental needs of children
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Certification or training in ABA or other special education programs is a plus
