SPEACH AND HEARING SPECIALIST(Diploma)

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Assessment & Diagnosis

• Conduct pure tone audiometry, impedance audiometry, speech audiometry, otoacoustic emissions (OAE), BERA/ASSR (Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry / Auditory Steady State Response) and vestibular evaluations.
• Identify type and degree of hearing loss and balance-related disorders.
• Maintain accurate records and diagnostic reports for clinical and medicolegal purposes.

Rehabilitation & Treatment

• Recommend appropriate intervention plans (hearing aids, cochlear implants, assistive listening devices, therapy).
• Perform hearing aid trial, fitting, real ear measurement (REM), tuning, and follow-up adjustments.
• Provide auditory-verbal therapy and tinnitus management assistance when required.

Patient Counseling & Education

• Educate patients and caregivers on test results, hearing device usage, maintenance, and communication strategies.
• Support patients emotionally throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Conduct awareness and counseling camps in communities and corporate setups as part of the clinic’s outreach programs.

Clinic Operations & Compliance

• Ensure calibration and safe functioning of audiological equipment.
• Follow clinic protocols, safety standards, and healthcare regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with ENT specialists, speech therapists, pediatric specialists, and customer service teams for holistic care delivery.
• Support tele-audiology and digital consultation services (if applicable).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
