Job Description

South Indian Chef

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes including dosa varieties, idli, vada, upma, pongal, chutneys, sambar, rice items, and more.

  • Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.

  • Manage kitchen operations during assigned shift.

  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the kitchen area.

  • Ensure timely preparation of dishes during peak hours.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management for stock replenishment.

  • Follow all food safety guidelines and kitchen SOPs.

  • Assist in menu planning and introducing new South Indian specialties when required.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience

  • Strong knowledge of traditional South Indian cooking methods and ingredients.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Flexibility to work in either shift (7 AM4 PM / 12 PM9 PM).

  • Immediate joiners preferred.
