About the Role:

South Indian Chef

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes (breakfast, lunch, and dinner items).
  • Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Innovate new dishes and ensure menu variety.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure proper food preparation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with hotel hygiene and safety standards.
  • Manage inventory, stock rotation, and food cost control.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and F&B team for smooth kitchen operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a South Indian Chef in a reputed hotel or restaurant.
  • Expertise in popular dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambhar, rasam, chutneys, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of regional spices and ingredients.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Culinary diploma or equivalent certification preferred.
