Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef, located in Kodaikanal. The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations, including preparing and cooking food, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the kitchen meets all health and safety standards. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, planning and designing menus, and ensuring guest satisfaction with high-quality cuisine.

Qualifications

• Culinary skills including preparing and cooking food
• Experience in kitchen operations management
• Inventory management and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards
• Supervisory skills and team management
• Menu planning and design
• Excellent communication skills and guest service orientation
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
• Relevant culinary certification or degree is a plus
