Sourcing Specialist - Software and Services

As a Sourcing Specialist for Software and Services at G+D, your role will involve identifying, evaluating, and onboarding IT service providers for software resource augmentation and work package outsourcing. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end P2P cycle and developing sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines. Your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding IT service providers - Developing sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines - Negotiating pricing, contract terms, and service-level expectations with vendors - Establishing and monitoring vendor performance metrics to ensure compliance with SLAs - Managing escalations and resolving disputes with service providers - Collaborating with internal teams (HR, finance, legal, and IT) to align sourcing strategies with business needs - Ensuring proper governance and compliance in all vendor engagements - Continuously analyzing market trends and suggesting improvements in the sourcing strategy Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering, MCA, BCA, MBA, SCM, or IT Management - 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, vendor/partner management, or procurement, specifically in IT/software services - Proven track record in engaging with IT service providers and managing outsourcing contracts - Strong experience in negotiating contracts, SLAs, MSAs, and SOWs - Hands-on experience with different software resource engagement models - Experience in managing escalations, vendor performance tracking, and risk mitigation Your technical expertise should include: - In-depth knowledge of software development technologies, particularly Java and .NET, and their resource requirements - Understanding of effort estimations, pricing structures, and cost models - Familiarity with procurement tools and vendor management systems - Ability to evaluate technical and financial proposals from vendors Ideally, you should have experience working with IT/software development companies, familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements for IT outsourcing in India, and exposure to working with multinational companies and cross-border procurement.,
