Sourcing Manager Proprietary Chassis

As a Supply Chain Manager at Zeno for the Proprietary Chassis, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end sourcing, vendor development, and supply chain execution for a next-generation proprietary chassis platform. Your role will involve strategic ownership, vendor development, negotiation & cost management, supplier program management, quality & compliance, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Strategic Ownership:** Build and manage the supply chain for proprietary chassis systems, including suspension, brake system, alloy wheels, bearings, tyres, chain drive system, latches, locks, ignition locks, etc. - **Vendor Development:** Identify and qualify global and domestic suppliers with advanced technology and design capabilities. - **Negotiation & Cost Management:** Drive competitive pricing strategies while ensuring adherence to engineering specifications. - **Supplier Program Management:** Work with engineering and program teams to meet technical & scheduling requirements, maintaining strict confidentiality. - **Quality & Compliance:** Ensure all proprietary chassis components meet durability, safety, and certification requirements. - **Risk Mitigation:** Develop dual-sourcing strategies, safeguard IP, and manage supplier activities closely to identify risks. - **Cross-Functional Alignment:** Collaborate with engineering, R&D, programs, and HOD to ensure chassis supply chain readiness. **Qualifications Required:** - 7-10 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement in automotive or allied heavy industries. - Deep expertise in suspension, brakes, and other proprietary functional & dynamic component sourcing. - Proficiency in ERP (SAP/Odoo) and advanced supply chain planning tools. - Strong confidentiality orientation and ability to manage sensitive programs. - Willingness to relocate to Bengaluru and travel to suppliers.
