Sourcing Manager

Role Summary:

Build inward (RM/Component) supply chain organically (non-China/China)

Identify, evaluate & onboard suppliers for basis PCBA components

Develop onboarding SOPs & Methods for suppliers

Onboard Suppliers basis order requirements (basis BOM) in minimal lead times

Drive lead time vs cost tradeoffs.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Onboarding

Setting up inbound RM and outbound logistics infrastructure and processes

Identify & Evaluate suppliers' basis current A&D landscape

Develop framework and SOP for Supplier evaluation and onboarding

Supply Chain Management:

Develop supplier KPIs against criteria and measure effective performance, quality and compliance.

Develop efficient procurement processes (eProcurement & ERP integration)

Monitor industry trends and technology roadmaps and partner with the design team to identify supply and demand challenges

Build and manage teams. Lead the training of key roles of procurement team

Cost Champion:

Develop & Maintain multiple suppliers to get best pricing

Identify alternate suppliers for promoter contracts to bring additional value add

Drive periodic scanning for opportunities to consolidate spend, reduce cost, and improve services

Preferred candidate profile

7+ yrs of B2B sales exp. in electronic manufacturing (Defense background preferred)

Relevant roles: Business Development Manager, Sales Head, Sales Manager etc

Degree Requirements: B.Tech, B.E in Electronics/EE preferred or MBA

Proven experience managing B2B Sales esp. with Aerospace and Defense customers
