Job Description

Main Activities:

• Strategy and planning:

Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies, including category

management and risk mitigation plans, to achieve procurement objectives.

• Supplier management:

Identify, evaluate, and select new and existing suppliers, and build strong, long-term

relationships. Monitor supplier performance and address issues promptly.

• Negotiation and contracting:

Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and quality that

align with organizational goals.

• Cost and market analysis:

Conduct cost analysis, forecast spending, and stay informed about market trends and shifts

in supplier power to reduce costs and optimize the supply chain.

• Collaboration:

Work with internal departments like production, design, and finance to understand their

material needs and ensure a smooth supply chain.

• Team leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, overseeing their performance and

providing guidance to improve efficiency.

• Reporting and compliance:

Prepare reports on sourcing activities, track performance metrics, and ensure all sourcing

activities comply with internal guidelines and external regulations.
