- Should be able to suggest Alternative Components
- Evaluate MRP action reports to define the need for the purchased product, prepare RFQs, evaluate quotes, select suppliers, create and approve purchase orders (POs), as well as the delivery of approved POs to suppliers.
- Monitor multiple performance characteristics such as OTD and Quality, supplier audits and monitor corrective actions.
- Drive alternate supplier development and cost optimization efforts.
- Develop Experience in Supplier Management to foster relationships with suppliers.
Determines the need for and leads, supplier meeting on Agreements concerns and coordinates other supplier activities as appropriate.
- Stress Management Skills, spoken and written communication skills, problem solving and maths skills, good geographical knowledge, planning and organizational skills, Knowledge of logistic terms, Knowledge of ERP.Purchase order evaluation and approval process, People Management Skills.
