Sourcing Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain and aggressively develop existing and new suppliers through coordination and initiatives.
• Support Business Development Managers with their queries relating to products from India.
• Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences, and conference telephone calls.
• Organize Audits of Supplier production facilities.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients as well as suppliers.
• Determining, negotiating, and agreeing on quality procedures, standards, and specifications
• Exposure to international regulatory audits such as USFDA, WHO, ANVISA, and EDQM.
• Assessing and meeting customer requirements.
• Understanding quality parameters of raw materials from clients and ensuring the same from suppliers.
• Ensuring that the manufacturing processes of suppliers comply with standards at both national and international levels.
• Understand management and technical reports and customers charters.
• Directing objectives to maximize profitability.
• Assist with specification setting, changecontrols, regulatory submissions and updates, annual product reviews, and other investigations along with suppliers.
• Assist clients with factory audits / Commercial visits to supplier production facilities.
• Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.
• Organize and attend national and international exhibitions.
• Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
• Assist and guide the team in any requirements pertaining to improvement in the companys sourcing activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors/Masters in Pharmaceutical Studies and Preferably a degree in Business Administration.
• Experience of approx.2-4 years in sourcing with exposure to vendor Development in the Pharmaceutical Raw-Material Industry.
