Sourcing Coordinator

As a Sourcing Coordinator at Xometry, you will play a crucial role in establishing sourcing solutions for complex orders, collaborating with various departments to ensure exceptional service delivery to both partners and customers. Your responsibilities will include: - Initial triage of orders to uncover potential manufacturing and quoting issues such as tolerances, design limitations, and material availability. - Identifying alternative sourcing strategies to meet customer requirements. - Cultivating network relationships and proactively communicating capacity gaps and constraints across the network. - Working cross-functionally to devise recovery strategies for assigned orders. - Being accountable for key performance indicators related to margin and time to resolution. To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills: - Detail-oriented problem solver with the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations with minimal direction. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (C1). - A strong desire to learn and grow within the company. - Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. - Proficiency in computer skills including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, as well as basic Internet navigation. - Basic knowledge of Solidworks, Salesforce, Looker, and Mechanical Print interpretation are considered advantageous. Qualifications for this position include: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field is preferred. - 2+ years of client-facing and vendor-facing experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry. - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers.
