Sourcer

Key Responsibilities

• Source candidates through job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), networking, employee referrals, and social media.
  
• Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic interviews to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to offer closure and onboarding.
  
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for IT roles.
  
• Maintain trackers, ensure accurate documentation, and update the ATS.
  
• Understand job requirements for diverse tech positions such as Java Developer, Dot Net Developer, DevOps Engineer, QA Tester, Data Engineer, etc.
  
• Negotiate salary and ensure smooth offer rollout.
  
• Follow up with candidates to reduce dropouts and ensure joining as per timelines.
  
• Stay updated with market trends, new technologies, and recruitment best practices.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in HR, IT, or related field.
  
• 1-4 years of experience in IT recruitment (agency or corporate).
  
• Good understanding of various IT skills, tools, and roles.
  
• Strong sourcing skills using portals, Boolean search, and social hiring.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to handle multiple mandates simultaneously.
  
• Knowledge of recruitment metrics, SLAs, and offer-to-join conversions.
  

Preferred

• Experience with ATS tools (e.g., Workday, Taleo, Zoho Recruit).
  
• Prior experience hiring for niche skills (Cloud, Big Data, Cybersecurity, AI/ML).
  
• Ability to handle high-volume hiring.
