Sound Engineer

At MotorInc, content is the core of our business. Our content is aired across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, our app, and other social media channels. Sound plays a vital role in enhancing our content quality and engagement, ensuring an immersive and professional experience for our audience.

The In-house Sound Engineer will be responsible for managing and producing all audio elements for MotorInc's digital outputs. This includes supervising sound recording in our studio, editing, mixing, and creating background music using free music libraries. The role requires a creative and technically skilled audio professional to enhance sound quality tailored to different platform specifications while aligning audio production with our brand identity.

• Manage the audio production process for all digital content platforms including YouTube, Instagram, MotorInc app, and other social media channels.

• Record, edit, mix, and master audio tracks to ensure superior sound quality and consistency across platforms.

• Create and compile background music and soundscapes using creative mixes and free sound libraries.

• Collaborate closely with video editors and the marketing team to synchronize audio with visual content effectively.

• Maintain and update a library of free music and sound effects assets for reuse across projects.

• Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related issues promptly to meet daily content deadlines.

• Stay current on sound engineering trends and digital audio production best practices to continually elevate MotorInc's audio output.

• Proven 3+ years of experience as a Sound Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in digital content or media production.

• Proficiency with sound editing and mixing software (e.g Protocols etc).

• Experience working with free music libraries and compiling custom background music tracks with sound effects (SFX).

• Strong understanding of audio recording equipment and technical troubleshooting.

• Excellent attention to detail paired with a creative mindset for sound design.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

• Radio or background of working in a full-time role will be appreciated.
