Solutioning Design Engineer - Electronics at Unbox Robotics

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design the solution for customer by integrating multiple products/devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively modify existing solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Communication with clients for network and power requirements
  • Development of electrical services proposals and engineering estimates
  • Working with Utility Layout to derive power supply calculation
  • Responsible for Power Supply Distribution, ethernet routing, cable tray routing plan, Ethernet Switches & IT requirements.
  • Generation of BOM, Electrical Schematic, Harness drawing for production
  • Modifications of service manual and deployment assembly instructions
  • Communication of technical aspects effectively to both technical and non-technical members
  • Recommend best practices to customers and help with IT Strategy and implementation planning
  • Ensure technical quality of deliverables under his/her portfolio of projects with strict adherence to architecture principles and design standards.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Electrical and IT standards as per EU/US/APAC regulations
  • Knowledge of International standards like NEC, CEC, IEEE, NEMA, IEC, BS, AS/NZS etc.
  • Good business and communication skills
  • Proficiency in ECAD
  • Strong documentation skills

Good To Have

  • Hands on experience on Siemens Capital Essentials Harness and/or Solid Edge
  • Knowledge of IT standards as per EU/US/APAC regulations

Eligible Candidates

  • Desired Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech/ M.S. in Electronics or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Work Experience: 2+ years of experience
