The Sales Engineering Specialist supports account teams on enterprise sales within a designated product, industry area and technology, supporting potential clients through the BT Group's production and solution suite.
What You’ll Be Doing
1 - Ensures excellence in pre-sales support for pre-qualified opportunities for all products and services across the BT group.2 - Supports the enablement of new sales activities in targeted accounts through leveraging influence on customer and industry relationships.3 - Manages and coordinates technical presentations of offerings to new potential customers.
- Coordinates technical working sessions to jointly architect solutions for vertical and client specific business problems leveraging the BT Group's capabilities with prospective new customers.
- Collates customer and partner feedback to aide product and services development.
- Monitors customer pipelines and supports deal orchestration and closing for the team.
- Establishes a comprehensive and deep understanding of customers, a challenges and an industry vertical aligning with the BT Group's propositions.
- Mentors other sales specialist engineers, helping to improve the team's abilities by acting as a technical resource.
- Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in engineering within an area of expertise.
