Role Description:
The Solution Architect SAP PP/WM is responsible for applying business & technical expertise to design, implement,
support
the current business capabilities into Cepheid s SAP systems and related third-party systems. This role will lead or participate in local or global projects across Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Inventory Control, Production Supply, and related processes including interfaces with MES. The applicant should also have broad knowledge of SAP and its management and should have ability to support advanced business functions, translate business requirements into solution designs, and build and implement systems and technical solutions for Operations. Job Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, MBA (or related) or the equivalent in work experience. Around 10 years of total experience in the Information technology profession focused on SAP ERP design, implementation, and support.
- 8 + years of experience primarily in SAP Production Planning module and secondary expertise in Materials Management (including Inventory Management) module and related processes in manufacturing organizations with broad exposure to other interfacing modules.
- Experience in SAP configuration and business processes in the areas of Manufacturing, Planning and Materials Management areas.
- Deep understanding of the integration with other ECC modules (especially SD, QM, CO)
- Experience in other related areas such as warehouse management interface with production orders, Stock Transfers, Batch management, Classification, Reporting, Queries.
- Experience in design and implementation of interfacing SAP with external MES (manufacturing Execution System) and related business processes
- Experience or knowledge of configuration and setup of Production planning and manufacturing process in S/4 HANA
- Experience in implementing large and complex SAP Projects and designing solutions to meet business requirements.
- Experience in working with business process/activity owners in understanding business requirement and solution design.
- Ability to identify, clarify and resolve project issues and risks as needed and Good analytical problem solving and fact-finding skills.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and Strong relationship building skills, internally within IT and with business users.
- Shall have knowledge in handling ITSM tools such as Spirit, ServiceNow etc.
It would be a plus if the candidate possesses:
- Experience in implementation of APS (Advance Planning System) and Experience in interfacing SAP with external PLM system
- Certification in SAP PP module
Job Responsibilities
: - Establish relationships with Manufacturing, Supply Chain (Planning, Procurement, Production stockroom and other related functions) and Quality departments.
- Collaborate and partner with business teams globally in Manufacturing (and supporting departments such as Quality, product transfer) and Supply Chain Departments to gain a deep understanding of their business processes and requirements.
- Design, develop, and test system solutions to address business requirements, in alignment with the global solution template.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well integrated and aligned to the overall enterprise architecture.
- Configure SAP PP, MM modules (or other modules as needed) to meet business requirements, including integration points with other SAP modules (primarily WM, CO)
- Design, implement, and support interfaces with other peripheral system applications such as MES, PLM.
- Develop functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with the development team to get those built and tested.
- Provide support to end users for issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and occasionally training.
- Advise users on ways they can improve their use of the SAP solution.
- Monitor, review and resolve global production system support related tickets/service requests & ensure tickets are resolved on time & within SLA. Update production tickets with root cause, solution notes and align with users on the resolution.

- Provide support to end users for issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and occasionally training. Advise users on ways they can improve their use of the SAP solution.
- Maintain good relationship with Business, IT colleagues and work with all relevant stake holders to resolve the tickets on time without breaching SLAs.
- Candidate shall complete all the assigned compliance courses/trainings as per the Cepheid Policy & on time.
Location:
India (Preferably from Bengaluru to come to MII office), if we didn t get, Bengaluru remote is okay, have to come to MII office as desired
Work Time Zone:
Mostly Europe time which is equal to 2 to 10 PM IST but shall be flexible.
