Critical Skills To Possess
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, Proven experience (typically 7 years) in payment systems architecture and automation architecture, with mandatory experience in embedded and IoT device development for the payments industry, Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in the card data industry, including cardholder data environment (CDE) security, Strong expertise with EMV standards, including chip card technology, transaction flow, and certification processes, Strong knowledge of payment processing workflows, gateways, acquiring, issuing, and settlement processes, Experience with payment standards and protocols such as ISO 8583, PCI DSS, 3-D Secure, tokenization, and encryption, Expertise in embedded systems development, IoT device architecture, firmware development, and hardware-software integration, Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), CI/CD pipelines, workflow orchestration, and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash), Familiarity with payment platforms like Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Stripe, Adyen, or similar, Proficiency in software development and system design (languages such as Java, C#, Python, C/C+ for embedded development), Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, and container orchestration, Strong understanding of API design, RESTful services, and event-driven architectures, Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with Sales, Product Managers, Product Owners, PMO, and external vendors, Preferred Qualifications BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
