Vulnerability Management and Infrastructure Security (VMIS)

Key Responsibilities (Simplified)

• Propose and design secure IT solutions (including prototypes).
• Align solutions with the bank's technical and security standards.
• Work with product owners, delivery leads, and architects to implement tools for system hardening, patching, and remediation.
• Create High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for security tools integration.
• Provide architecture consulting to project and business teams.
• Lead integration and configuration of security solutions across the bank.
• Support security tooling initiatives including automation and DevSecOps.
• Contribute to risk reduction by helping identify, fix, and prevent vulnerabilities.
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge across Cyber Security domains
• Expertise in cloud, infrastructure, and application security
• Hands-on with DevSecOps and security automation tools
• Familiar with security scanning tools (static/dynamic)
• Good understanding of vulnerability lifecycle management
• Able to lead technical architecture design and implementation
  

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable
• Able to work in regulated environments and handle ambiguity
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Certifications like CISSP, CISM are good to have
• 10–12 years of experience in IT and cyber security architecture
• Experience in banking/financial institutions preferred
