Job Purpose

To lead and manage solar service operations across assigned regions, ensuring excellent customer service, timely resolution of issues, effective AMC management, and field team performance aligned with Kondaas service quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Team Leadership

  • Lead, train, and manage service engineers and technicians
  • Monitor field activities and ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Assign service schedules and track team performance

2️⃣ Customer Service & Support

  • Ensure quick and effective resolution of service requests and complaints
  • Handle customer escalations and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Implement customer feedback and service improvement plans

3️⃣ AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) Management

  • Manage AMC contracts and renewals
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules
  • Monitor AMC revenue and ensure customer retention

4️⃣ Technical Support

  • Provide expert technical guidance for troubleshooting
  • Support field teams in handling complex service issues
  • Coordinate with OEMs for resolving technical challenges

5️⃣ Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain detailed service records and reports (MIS)
  • Track service KPIs such as resolution time, CSAT, and first-time fix rate
  • Submit monthly and quarterly reports to management

6️⃣ Cross-functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with Sales, Projects, and Supply Chain teams
  • Manage warranty claims and coordinate with vendors
  • Ensure service readiness for new project installations

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma / BE in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy or related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in Solar Service Management or Renewable Energy industry
  • Strong understanding of Solar PV Systems, Inverters, Batteries
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Good communication and customer handling abilities
  • Proficient in service reporting and tools
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Malayalam is mandatory
