Solar Project Manager

As a Solar Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and management of technical activities within ongoing solar projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure project accuracy and quality by establishing inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all project elements. Your key responsibilities will include preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring engineering projects, formulating project parameters, assigning responsibilities to team members, and interacting with clients to understand their needs and represent them in the field. You will also be responsible for performing quality control tasks, cooperating with project participants to enhance project efficiency, reviewing engineering tasks, and ensuring project compliance with relevant codes and standards. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Prior experience in solar industrial and commercial projects is preferred. Strong project management, supervision, organizational, and leadership skills are essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. A proactive approach, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and PVSyst are desired. Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices will be an added advantage.
