Position Overview:

• The Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing 100MW or above in Solar EPC Land based AC/DC projects all project planning & mgt. activities of electrical, civil at the project site, ensuring adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines. This role involves coordination with various stakeholders, including engineering teams, subcontractors, and client representatives, to achieve project objectives effectively from Initiation to closure.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:

• Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop detailed electrical project execution plans in coordination with project managers and engineering teams.
• Implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion of electrical activities as per project milestones.
• Supervise and manage subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

• Site Management:

• Oversee all electrical activities at the project site, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Coordinate with other site disciplines to resolve cross-functional issues and maintain project continuity.

• Quality Assurance and Control:

• Implement quality control measures to ensure the proper installation and functioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Address any non-conformities promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.

• Safety Compliance:

• Enforce strict adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Investigate and report any safety incidents, near misses, or hazards, and implement corrective/preventive measures.

• Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of Project activities, including drawings, specifications, test reports, and as-built documentation.
• Prepare progress reports, daily/weekly/monthly project updates, and other relevant documentation for internal and client review.
• Ensure timely submission of project deliverables and documentation as per contractual requirements.

• Stakeholder Coordination:

• Liaise with project managers, engineering teams, procurement, and client representatives to address project requirements, concerns, and changes.
• Participate in project meetings, providing updates on electrical progress, issues, and mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with design teams to resolve technical queries and ensure design intent is implemented accurately on-site.

Core Competencies:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management tools/software and MS Office applications.
• Certification in relevant areas such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) is desirable.
• Knowledge of renewable energy technologies (solar).

Qualification & Other Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in project management preferably in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects within the power and renewable energy sector.
• In-depth knowledge of systems, equipment, codes, standards, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
