About the Role --> - The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of substation projects up to 76kV voltage level. Based at the project site, this role requires hands-on management of construction, installation, commissioning, and startup activities, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, safety compliance, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilites --> - Bill of Material & Quantity: Prepare a comprehensive list of materials required, detailing quantities for electrical, mechanical, and civil components.
- Solar PV Modules: Procure and install solar PV modules with appropriate mounting structures.
- Junction Boxes: Procure and install junction boxes adhering to standards for protection and isolation.
- AC Power Conditioning Units (PCU): Procure and install PCUs with necessary protection and control features, including string monitoring and maximum power point tracking (MPPT).
- Solar Modules and PCUs: Interconnect solar modules with PCUs, ensuring proper integration with transformers, LT & HT sides, LT switchgear, data loggers, monitors, net metering, circuit breakers, and surge protection devices (SPD).
- Earthing System: Provide an earth-mat and interconnect array structures with earth pits for grounding.
- Monitoring Desk: EPC of a plant monitoring desk to monitor the status of all major equipment through a remote monitoring system.
- Balance of System (BOS): EPC of all other BOS components as per the Bill of Material (BOM) not covered above.
- Emergency DG Set: Install an emergency diesel generator (DG) set with a battery bank and battery charger.
- Metering Device: Install a metering device for energy measurement and management.
- Control Room: Construct and equip the control room and other chambers necessary for plant operations.
- Civil Works: Execute civil works required for the project site, including foundations and supporting structures.
- Project Implementation Schedule: Develop and follow a detailed project implementation schedule.
- Execution, Monitoring, and Controlling: Oversee project execution, ensuring continuous monitoring and control of all activities.
- Operation and Maintenance: Provide post-commissioning operation and maintenance services to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Project Deliverables: Ensure all project deliverables are met according to the contract terms.
- Assumptions & Estimates: Develop financial assumptions and estimates for the project.
- Cost Break-Up: Provide a detailed cost breakdown for all project components.
- Fund Source: Identify and secure funding sources.
- Cash Flow: Manage the projects cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Advantages & Disadvantages: Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the project.
- Safety Norms: Implement safety norms and emergency procedures to ensure the safety of all personnel and equipment.
