Solar Project Engineer

As a Solar Project Site Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of solar PV installation projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Supervising and executing solar PV installation and commissioning at project sites. - Ensuring adherence to engineering drawings, safety codes, and project timelines. - Coordinating with contractors, vendors, and the internal project team. - Monitoring on-site safety, quality control, and reporting. To qualify for this role, you will need: - A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. - Minimum 3 years of on-site experience in solar PV installations (commercial, industrial, or utility-scale). - Deep knowledge of ground-mounted solar systems and relevant standards (IS, IEC, etc.). - Ability to interpret engineering drawings, SLDs, and layout plans. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic project management tools. Preferred qualifications include experience handling large-scale renewable energy projects, strong leadership, and problem-solving skills, as well as a willingness to relocate and work in remote site conditions. The working conditions for this role are primarily field-based with exposure to outdoor environments. You must be open to working weekends to meet deadlines and be willing to relocate to the project site.
