Role Description This is a contract-based hybrid role for a Solar Project Engineer located in the Kolkata metropolitan area, with some work from home flexibility. The Solar Project Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing solar power systems. This includes tasks such as PV system design, electrical schematics creation, project planning, and collaborating with teams for execution and regulatory compliance. The role involves ensuring optimal performance, quality standards, and safety compliance for solar projects. The candidate will also support clients with technical expertise and assist in achieving sustainability goals. Qualifications Expertise in Solar Industry, Solar Power, and Solar Systems Experience in PV Design and creating efficient solar power layouts Proficiency in Electrical Design and understanding of electrical system integration Strong analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to renewable energy projects Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred) or a related field Familiarity with solar industry regulations and standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Prior experience with solar installation projects or O&M support is a plus
