Solar Project Engineer

Role Overview: As a Solar Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of solar power projects from concept to commissioning. Your role will involve technical design, site supervision, project coordination, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety, and quality requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring timely execution of work as per project schedule. - Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution. - Monitor installation of modules, inverters, mounting structures, cabling, and other system components. - Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards at the site. - Conduct inspections and quality checks during and after installation. - Verify material quality as per approved specifications. - Perform electrical testing, system performance verification, and troubleshooting. - Assist in system commissioning and handover to operations team. - Maintain project documentation including drawings, test reports, and site reports. - Prepare progress reports and present updates to management and clients. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering. - 5 years of experience in solar power project execution (rooftop/utility scale). - Knowledge of solar PV system design software (PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, etc.). - Strong understanding of electrical systems (LT/HT, transformers, switchgear). - Excellent project management and problem-solving skills. Additional Details: The location for this position is PAN India (Prayagraj, Jamnagar, Bhubaneswar). Candidates must be travel friendly.
